Use this checklist to make sure you have taken all the necessary steps and have everything you need for a successful fundraiser. Not all of the items on the checklist will necessarily apply to your fundraiser program.

-Set your fundraising goal.

-Establish your budget for product, advertising, and prize incentives for your group.

-Call our Fundraiser Consultant to help plan your program and receive a free fundraising kit. 1-888-317-7333

-Arrange a location for your fundraiser.

-Set the beginning and ending dates for your fundraiser.

-Notify your group members and /or parents well in advance. Think "two weeks". If you are having a pre-sale fundraiser, give your group at least two weeks of selling time. If you are having a group sale, give people at least two weeks notice so that they can arrange their schedules.

-Advertise your fundraiser. Use posters, flyers, community announcements, mailings and emails to be sure your fundrasier gets the support you need.

-Organize your volunteer staff and assign responsibilities.

-Gather all necessary supplies. Depending on your program, you might need some or all of the following:
-tables
-chairs
-posters
-cash box and lots of change
-order forms and brochures for pre-sale fundraisers
-drinks and snacks for your group
-tally sheets to calculate your final sales

-Fun prizes and incentives to motivate your group.

-Collect the final funds raised and calculate your profit.

-Reward your top sellers.

-Celebrate your fundraising success!
